A new village to live in
At its heart, Weston will be a self-sustaining village. A recognisable centre will bring together schools, nurseries, a GP surgery and shops, with green spaces, playing fields and safe walking and cycling routes linking them to homes, all within a short walk. It will be somewhere people choose to put down roots.
Bradford Estates has been shaping places in this part of Shropshire for over 900 years, from Capability Brown’s landscaping at Weston Park to the villages and farmsteads that still define the area’s character today. Weston Village draws on that tradition, with homes for people at every stage of life, including affordable housing and later living accommodation.
Exactly what Weston Village includes, and how it takes shape, will be defined by what we hear from the community as our thinking develops.
