Weston will be a new village unlike any other in Shropshire, with its own primary schools, nurseries, GP surgery and village shops delivered on site.
Everyday needs will be met within a 20-minute walk, without adding pressure on neighbouring towns and villages. Weston will grow over many years, with each phase designed to stand on its own, so every new neighbourhood works from the start.
Planned together with the village as one connected place at Junction 3 of the M54, Weston Gateway has the potential to support around 8,000 permanent, high-quality jobs. Training and skills will sit on the same pathway, so people can live, work and build their careers in Shropshire.
Weston is an emerging proposal, brought forward by Bradford Estates. Our family has been part of this landscape for over 900 years and still lives here today, so we are personally invested in getting it right. Before detailed proposals are drawn up, we want to hear what matters most to the people who live and work nearby, and we will share more as our plans develop.
